Sara Asghari Andrews, DDS, MS

Dr. Sara Andrews, formerly known as Dr. Sara Asghari, received her DDS degree, Magna Cum Laude, from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry. She completed her Orthodontic specialty training at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), one of the most prestigious orthodontic programs in the world. In addition to her orthodontic certificate, Dr. Sara Andrews obtained a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology and Craniofacial Sciences from UCSF. Dr. Sara Andrews is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), which means that she has successfully completed the ABO examination and certification process.
Dr. Sara has been practicing orthodontics for the past five years in the Bay Area, and she has finally realized her dream of starting her own practice on the Peninsula!
In addition to prowess in the orthodontics, Dr. Sara is trained in the fields of TMJ dysfunction management and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) using oral appliances. Her Masters of Science thesis involved research on OSA as it relates to craniofacial structures.
Dr. Sara is known by her patients for her gentle and caring demeanor and conservative approach to orthodontic care. She genuinely cares about every one of her patients, and listens to their needs. At your initial consultation, she will be sure to listen to your concerns and present to you all of your treatment options including pros and cons, so you can be confident in you treatment decision. There is nothing Dr. Sara enjoys more, than to make a difference in her patients’ lives, and to see them smile with confidence.
Dr. Sara and her husband, Ryan, love the bay area and all the wonderful activities and culture it has to offer. Outside of smile design, Dr. Sara enjoys hiking, jogging, dabbling on the keyboard, watching movies, and spending time with her close friends and family.
