Custom Dentures
When you're ready to replace lost, broken, or damaged teeth, Clayton Dental Group is your Concord location for state-of-the-art dentures solutions. A denture or complete denture is a custom-fitted appliance designed to replace natural teeth and support the lips and cheeks. Dr. Haidari has received advanced, extensive training in helping patients replace lost teeth with denture solutions. Dentures are his speciality!
At Clayton Dental Group, we fabricate a wide selection of dentures to meet our patients' needs, including immediate dentures, partial dentures, and implant-retained dentures.
- A conventional denture is made after all teeth have been extracted and the tissues (gums) have healed.
- An immediate denture is fabricated and inserted immediately after the teeth are extracted and the tissues are allowed to heal under the denture.
- An upper denture has acrylic, usually flesh colored, that covers the palate (roof of the mouth).
The replacement teeth are made of strong plastic, porcelain, or a combination of the two. Dentures can be fabricated to fit over treated teeth and a complete denture can be attached to dental implants to provide a more stable fit.
Dentures over a normal course of time will experience wear and tear, and will need to be replaced or relined in order to maintain proper jaw alignment. Visiting our Concord dental office for your regular dental examinations will still be important after your dentures are placed. This will allow our team to examine your dentures, as well as the surrounding oral tissues, to help you maintain your complete, functional smile.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are the most comfortable and permanent solution for replacing lost teeth. They form a strong foundation for teeth and jaw to keep the jaw healthy and strong. Implants support individual replacement teeth or secure specialized dentures in place. Unlike most bridges, dental implants can last a lifetime. Implant-supported replacement teeth can be attractive, stable, and comfortable for almost any patient.
Dr. Haidari and his team often recommend our patients select a dental implant over other tooth replacement solutions, to preserve the structure of the teeth, avoid the discomfort and inconvenience associated with removable dentures, and ensure optimal security for your restored smile. We can even perform a dental extraction and implant placement in a single appointment, to ensure your smile restoration procedure is quick and effective!
At Clayton Dental Group, we offer the following dental implant systems:
- All-on-4 Dental Implants
- Hybrid Dental Implants
- Mini Implants
- Hybridge
- Overdentures
- Implant-Retained Dentures
Dental Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns and bridges can provide a long-lasting solution for teeth affected by disease, accidents, wear and tear, damage, and breakage. Our team uses high-grade porcelain or porcelain bonded to gold to result in a high-strength finish for even the most serious of dental problems. When damage, excessive wear, or tooth loss occur, Dr. Haidari and his team can provide durable dental crowns and bridges to restore the tooth's complete function and strength.
Dental crowns at Clayton Dental Group can provide the following key benefits for damaged teeth:
- Support for misshapen teeth
- Restore severely damaged or badly broken teeth
- Restoring the appearance and function of the smile, including functional chewing problems
- Sealing and protecting a tooth after a root canal
- Repair cracked and fractured teeth
For most patients, fitting your dental crown will require at least two visits to our office. Initially, we will remove decay, shape the tooth, and fit it with a temporary crown made from either plastic or metal. At your next visit, we will remove the temporary crown, then fit and adjust the final crown. Your permanent crown will be cemented into place, resulting in a beautifully restored tooth!
Amalgam-Free, Tooth-Colored Dental Fillings
As an amalgam-free dental practice, Clayton Dental Group treats cavities using the safest possible materials. Whether your smile needs a simple filling, or you need to replace outdated silver filling from years past, there are many advantages to tooth-colored restorations at Clayton Dental Group. To complete each filling, resin onlays are bonded to the teeth creating a tight, superior fit to the natural tooth. Such restorations can be used in instances where much of the tooth structure has been lost. The tooth remains intact and stronger, and the result is a beautiful new smile!
Since the resin used in tooth-colored restorations contain fluoride this can help prevent decay. The resin wears like natural teeth and does not require placement at the gum line, providing the added bonus of being healthier for your gums.
Root Canal Therapy
With millions performed every year, root canals are one of the most common dental procedures available. This simple treatment can save your natural teeth and prevent the need for dental implants or bridges.
At the center of your tooth is the pulp, a collection of blood vessels that helps to build the surrounding tooth. Infection of the pulp can be caused by deep tooth decay, trauma to the tooth, chips, cracks, dental abscesses, and more. If you have experienced infection within the pup and may need to undergo root canal therapy, key symptoms may include swelling of the tooth, sensitivity to temperature, or pain in the tooth and gums.
When you visit us for a root canal at Clayton Dental Group, our team will use local anesthesia to eliminate discomfort. If needed, we can provide mild sedation in the form of laughing gas to ensure your optimal comfort throughout the duration of your treatment. When your root canal therapy has been completed, a record of your treatment will be sent to your restorative dentist. You should contact their office for a follow-up restoration within a few weeks of completion at our office.
To complete the procedure, your restorative dentist will decide on what type of restoration is necessary to protect your tooth, and will provide esay-to-follow education to help you maintain your healthy tooth after your treatment.
